A seal that
expires when
it no longer holds.
Every other shop seal is an image file with a yearly stamp. Ours is fetched fresh on every page view – and disappears on its own as soon as your shop no longer passes the daily check. That is exactly what makes it credible.
An image is not a check result.
We do not know this from theory. Every day we find shops that have simply copied someone else's seal graphic – the image says "verified", nothing was ever verified. A seal you can download and paste elsewhere is not proof. It is a claim in image form.
Checked once. After that a file anyone can copy – including the fake shop next door.
Fetched fresh on every page view. Bound to your domain. Shows today's status, not last year's.
One question. An answer that is allowed to change.
Your shop does not stand still: certificates expire, legal notices disappear during relaunches, register entries change. A seal that claims the same thing for a year cannot react to that. Ours can – and that is precisely where its value for your customers lies.
If the result changes, the seal changes. Without action, without a support ticket.
Whoever steals it turns themselves in.
Our seal is bound to your domain. If someone embeds it on another site, it does not show your result there but a warning – and we record where that happened.
Warning instead of confirmation
On foreign sites it visibly shows "not for this site" – the theft becomes a warning.
Proof included
Every misuse attempt is recorded with origin and timestamp. You see the list in your account.
Domain proof up front
A seal is only issued once a DNS record or file proves the domain is yours.
Four steps to your seal
Company check
Submit company data and register proof – the same check as for brand protection.
Prove your domain
Set a DNS record or upload a file. That proves the domain belongs to you.
Shop gets checked
Your shop runs through the full check. If it passes, the seal is approved.
Embed – done
One line of code in your footer. From then on we keep checking daily, without you doing anything.
What we check – every single day
The same check we use to find fake shops runs over your shop every day. The full methodology is published.
- Complete, findable legal notice
- Register entry consistent and active
- Valid encryption
- Secure payment methods offered
- Reachable contact details
- Withdrawal policy and terms present
- No entries on warning lists
- Third-party seals shown are genuine
- No relevant warnings found online
Classic seal versus live seal
| Classic trust seal | Live seal | |
|---|---|---|
| Check timing | Check frequency usually not stated | Automated, daily |
| Form | Image file | Live request to the server |
| Copyable | Yes | No – bound to the domain |
| If the shop deteriorates | Stays visible until expiry | Expires automatically |
| Public proof | Certificate page without check history | Certificate page with history |
| Methodology | Criteria named, weighting not | Fully disclosed |
Behind the seal sits a page that glosses over nothing.
One click on the seal leads to a public certificate page: what was checked, when it was last checked, with what result – and the full history. Including the periods in which the seal was suspended. Proof you could polish would not be proof.
- Checked domain and seal identifier
- Timestamp of the last check
- The individual criteria passed
- Complete status history
One line of code. Nothing more.
The snippet places the linked seal exactly where you put it – footer, cart, product page. It loads asynchronously and does not slow your page down.

One company check, two building blocks
Brand protection and the shop seal solve opposite problems: one protects you from misuse of your identity, the other certifies your own shop. Both build on the same company check – you submit your company data only once.
Brand protection
We raise the alarm when fraudsters misuse your company data for a fake shop.
- Monitoring of register number, VAT ID and company name
- Instant alert with evidence on misuse
- Live seal for your shop, checked daily
- Public certificate page with history
- Proof of who uses your seal without permission
Shop seal
The live seal for your shop – re-checked daily instead of once a year.
- Monitoring of register number, VAT ID and company name
- Instant alert with evidence on misuse
- Live seal for your shop, checked daily
- Public certificate page with history
- Proof of who uses your seal without permission
Complete
Both together: nobody misuses your identity, and your customers can see it.
- Monitoring of register number, VAT ID and company name
- Instant alert with evidence on misuse
- Live seal for your shop, checked daily
- Public certificate page with history
- Proof of who uses your seal without permission
All packages run for one year and do not renew silently. Passing the company check is a requirement.
Frequently asked questions
The seal is suspended and says so openly. As soon as the cause is fixed and the next check succeeds again, it is reactivated automatically – you do not need to apply for anything. A failure of our own check (a network error on our side, for instance) does not suspend your seal.
No, and we do not claim otherwise. We are not a certification body. The seal states exactly one thing: this domain passes our automated, daily repeated check according to a published methodology. In return that statement is verifiable by anyone at any time – which cannot be said of an audit seal.
Then they only hurt themselves. The seal is bound to your domain: on a foreign site it shows no confirmation but a notice that it is not valid there. At the same time we record origin and timestamp – you see every misuse attempt in your account.
No. The snippet loads asynchronously, the seal itself is a vector graphic of a few kilobytes and is cached in the browser. Your page never waits for it.
Any shop that passes the company check, proves its domain and passes the shop check. All three are required – without exception, and not for an extra fee either. A seal you can buy would be worthless.
The seal is billed annually and runs for one year. After that you renew it deliberately – it does not renew silently. The daily check is included in the price.
The seal is not a certification and says nothing about creditworthiness. It confirms only that a domain passes the automated check according to a published methodology. It replaces neither your own purchasing decision nor a legal review.
