Fake-shop warning list – page 180
This warning list holds online shops and websites that a warning list we evaluate warns about, or that the automated check by Fakeshop AI has rated “Danger”. For every domain you see the trust score, the category and the date of the most recent check. Every entry leads to the full check with the reasons for the rating.
When a domain ends up on the warning list
A domain is listed when a third-party warning list we evaluate warns about it, or when our own check returns the verdict “Danger”. For an entry taken from a third-party list we name the source; in that case we have not always checked the site point by point ourselves. For the verdict from our own check, a single warning sign is not enough. More than 30 publicly verifiable points feed into it: the mandatory details in the legal notice under German law (§ 5 DDG), a comparison of the company with the commercial register, the payment methods, the age and WHOIS data of the domain, the SSL certificate, conspicuous hosting patterns, the validity of any trust seals shown and entries on public warning lists published by consumer-protection bodies. A shop that only takes prepayment shows one of the strongest single warning signs.
We only evaluate what is publicly accessible. What that is in detail and how it works together is set out in our methodology.
How often the list is updated
The list changes all the time; there are no fixed intervals. Any check can add an entry. A check starts when someone enters an address on the homepage or when our automatic discovery finds a new domain. What was checked most recently is at the top. If we re-check a listed domain and the result improves, the entry disappears on its own. What we do not know we leave blank. We do not estimate.
Objection: have a classification reviewed
The classification is an automated expression of opinion and not a legally binding determination. It can be wrong. Operators of a listed domain can object at any time, using the correction form. We review every notice, have the domain assessed again and correct entries that are demonstrably wrong. There is no paid removal.
9,002 domains are currently listed.
The table shows up to 50 entries per page, the most recently checked domain first. Older entries are reachable via the page numbers below the table.
